The shipper installed its offices in capital Lima
The Japan-based shipper Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has opened offices in Peruvian capital Lima, to consolidate its presence in the country.
The country was chosen because it shows more stable growth than other South American nations. With the new subsidiary, MOL will consolidate its business structure and further expand north-south containership routes to further improve customer services, according to a press release from the company.
Operations began this month, with a total base of 19 employees, lead by general manager Jean Pierre Thorin Brauer.
Besides its Peruvian subsidiary, MOL has offices in Brazil and Chile in the Latin American region.
